PROPERTIES

ANTI-FOAMING AGENT SI is a highly effective and rapid anti-foaming silicone emulsion for water systems.

ANTI-FOAMING AGENT SI is used in all systems in need of rapidly reducing foam. The product is very versatile and may be used in a wide variety of applications.  For example, it is useful for soaking prior to textile spinning, in lactic mixtures which require excess foam regulation, in finishing baths, drawing attention to the separating effect of the decreased silicone oils, although minimal, the adhesion of products to fibrous material.

The product is also widely used in the papermaking and water-puryfing industries.

USE

The emulsion is stable and long-term storage will not cause problems when later used. Stable to pH acids and alcalines. Also effective in instances where the temperature reaches  80-90°C.

For optimal results, a ratio of 1:1 with water should be used.  Any other ratio may result in increased dilution, depending on application.

To dilute ANTI-FOAMING AGENT SI and retain stability of the emulsion it is advisable to prepare the anti-foaming agent in a receptacle and slowly add equal amounts of water while stirring.

Before using product, it is best to do a preliminary test to ensure proper measurement and stability.
